About Us

My wife Susan and I are the founders of this ministry, WATERBEARER MINISTRIES. We are organized as a 501 (c) (3) corporation, operating as a Charitable and Religious organization. Our primary purpose is to help raise funds to drill new water wells in underdeveloped areas, primarily in Uganda and Kenya, to help provide aid in times of natural disasters for food and other needed items at home in the U.S. and abroad. We rely on charitable contributions from individuals, churches and businesses of vehicle donations which can be sold to underwrite our efforts, or of cash or other properties. Thank You in advance for your help. Mark Williams

Our Mission

To help provide clean and safe drinking water to people in underdeveloped areas, to help meet the needs for food and water during times of natural disasters, to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a lost and dying world.

In addition to helping fund drilling of water wells in underdeveloped areas of the world by the normal methods of hiring a water well drilling contractor, the picture to the right shows a manual powered water well drilling rig that we are working to purchase that will allow many more wells to be produced at a lower cost per well. In addition it will help provide jobs to the drilling crews. The Village Drill can reach a depth of 76 meters (250 feet).

The Village Drill

This proven design can be transported in a pickup truck or van, assembled in approx. 2 hours and be ready to began drilling.  Once the water level is reached  it can be disassembled and moved to another site in a short time. The great benefit of this technology is more wells being drilled for less costs. Our prayer is to be able to purchase multiple drilling rigs like this to bring fresh, safe drinking water to many in need.
