Well #13b: Family Chapel Kassanda (Kassanda District, Uganda) - Rainwater Harvesting Tank

When drilling Well #13a, the team ran into many difficulties with the soil conditions and were not able to complete the drilling at that site. As an alternate water source, we provided the funding to set up a rainwater harvesting tank (holds 10,000 liters) to catch the rainwater coming off the church building.

In addition, another team started hand-drilling in the Kassanda District, an area around 2 1/2 miles from Pastor Michael's church. Our Waterbearer Ministries (WBM) Team Uganda assisted at the location. They reached water at a depth of 50 feet as of 12/10/2024. After digging to 60 feet, the well was completed on 12/21/2024. This is Well #14.
